  3. This Action! 2.5 CD-ROM disc contains two installation programs. 
  4. One creates icons in a Macromedia group window which enable you 
  5. to run Action! 2.5 on the CD-ROM disc.
  6. The other installs the Action! 2.5 software to your hard drive.
  7.  
  8. TO RUN ACTION! 2.5 ON THE CD
  9. To create icons that run Action! 2.5 on the CD, log on to the root 
  10. directory of your CD-ROM drive and type CDINSTAL at the DOS prompt. 
  11. The program creates a Macromedia group window with icons for Action! 2.5, 
  12. Player, Convert, Notes for Action! 2.5 and Convert, and an on-line
  13. manual for Action! 2.5.

  15. Note that when you run CONVERT from the CD-ROM, you can only convert files 
  16. to the clipboard. If you want to convert to another file format, you must
  17. run CONVERT from the hard drive.

  19. TO INSTALL ACTION! 2.5 TO YOUR HARD DRIVE
  20. To install to the hard drive, you must start Windows and open a Run
  21. dialog box in Program Manager or File Manager.
  22. Run the program, INSTALL, which is in the root directory of the  CD-ROM disc.
